Fort Lauderdale has changed dramatically in the last decade, with big changes now in the works, particularly for the beach, downtown, and Las Olas. Cranes are all over the downtown skyline.  New luxury condominiums have been built along the beach and New River downtown and on the Middle River. Modernist boutique condominiums and townhouses, some with dockage,  can be found in prime locations and offer large units in small low rise buildings. 

A redevelopment of the public space on the beach north and south of Las Olas Boulevard,and  a re-design of the commercial part of Las Olas Boulevard is in the works. Flagler Village has emerged as a hip neighborhood north of downtown, with new apartment buildings, restaurants, bars and galleries and a new hotel. The Brightline, a new fast train with a station downtown,  links Miami and Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale in Minutes.  Take a look at some of the properties currently available.
